THE TWELVE YEARS OF THE METHIDIUS
I. The Flame- Year of great abundance in theft and plunder. A rising chance for all failures in previous
ages. Assasins begin spiritual training.
II. The Wind- Events are unpredictable and come and go in many paces. There comes eras of peace and
tranquility, usually immediately followed by a need for action and hard decision making.
III. The Knife- An unsteady time. Watch your back or you will be stabbed by the blade of reckless fate.
Keep down, but rise when you must.
IV. The Feather- Smooth and easy. Time of the Philisophic Initiation; when the Trainee Scholars and
Priests are recognized. Official Healers are promoted.
V. The Eye- Very regular time. A mix of the past three years (excluding The Feather). Collections for
the seventh year begin.
VI. The Crescent- Thieves are assigned a major task to be promoted, initiated, and confirmed to loyalty.
Assasins begin physical training.
VII. The Quake- Time of harsh weathers. Produce of The Eye are kept safe and used gradually over the
year. Training and business goes on.
VIII. The Emerald- Mating year and birthing year. It takes exactly one year for a female to give birth
after she is concieved.
IX. The Thunder- Wars are fought and easily won. Trainees begin their first missions.
X. The Shadow- Time of secrecy and darkness. Rebuilding year for failures made in The Thunder.
XI. The Scar- Assasin's Initiation. One of the most important years of the Methidius, as assasins are
the recruits that sustain the material life of the clan. The Bath of Blood Ceremony takes place.
XII. The Crystal- Time of mourning those who were lost in the previous years. Ends with a celebration
of life.
